- I am an Eurasian Otter, 'Lutra lutra' between you and me, thats my scientific name anyway. A Mustelid, member of the weasel family, living in rivers, streams, lakes, along coasts, even found on islands. I live in and by the water, dependent on it for my food, safety and home, raising young, meeting females, otters that is, and generally looking cool and well-groomed.... that's me.
